"The Super Mario Galaxy Movie" has unleashed a first proper trailer, unveiling the new villain as well as some new cast additions.

Details on the follow-up to 2023's "Super Mario Bros Movie" were confirmed back in September , with the film set to continue the adventures of the Nintendo icon on screen.

The trailer shows the now-shrunken Bowser in his miniature castle under the watchful eye of Mario and Luigi – though the baddie has a bit of a meltdown when the former calls his new painting "trash."

After some teasers, including the expected space setting, we're introduced to new baddie Bowser Jr, who is on a quest to save his dad, as well as "Super Mario Galaxy" game character Rosalina.
