It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Detroit. Downtown Detroit Markets and the adjacent Cadillac Lodge opened to the public Wednesday, and 1001 Winter Wonders opens Thursday, offering a variety of family fun activities and holiday shopping.

Bedrock’s “Decked Out Detroit” gave a holiday season media preview Wednesday morning, along with partners from the Gilbert Family Foundation, TechTown and Downtown Detroit Partnership.

“We’re so excited, we think this is going to be the most magical holiday season in downtown Detroit yet,” said Dustin Stolzman, senior director of experience for Bedrock Detroit.
