Country singer Morgan Wade is stepping away from the road next year after performing roughly 500 shows over the past three and a half years.

The Virginia native announced her decision to take a touring hiatus in an Instagram video posted Nov. 6, telling fans she plans to focus on personal projects and “experience some life.”

“I have been to a lot of places that this small town girl never thought that she would get to go to,” Wade said in the video. “I have done a lot of things. I have met a lot of people. I couldn’t have done any of that without you guys buying tickets and listening to my songs. I’m forever grateful for that.”

The 30-year-old artist has maintained a demanding performance schedule that included releasing a deluxe album in 2025, opening for Alanis Morissette’s 2024 Trip
