BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - As flu season takes hold, health professionals across Texas are observing an increase in viral spread, with projections indicating a potentially more severe season than last year.
The Texas Medical Director for Integrity Urgent Care , Dr. Eddy Dark, warns Texans to be on high alert this winter.
Dr. Dark closely monitors Australia’s flu season as a key indicator for what Texas might experience. This year, Australia has seen an almost 11% increase in flu cases compared to last year, suggesting a similar surge could be on its way to Texas.
