EXCLUSIVE: Scary Movie 6 has added Damon Wayans Jr. ( New Girl ), Kim Wayans ( In Living Color ), and Heidi Gardner to its cast, setting two franchise vets to return: Gardner’s fellow SNL alum Cheri Oteri and Chris Elliott .

Character details for the newcomers to the Miramax horror spoof franchise are under wraps. It’s unclear whether Oteri and Elliott will reprise past roles or take on new ones — given the nature of these films, anything is possible. Oteri previously appeared in the first Scary Movie in 2000 as Gail Halstorm, a sensationalist television reporter parodying Courteney Cox’s Scream character Gale Weathers.
