A boxing star is coming to Central New York to host multiple screenings of her new movie.

Christy Martin will host showings of the new biopic, “Christy,” starring Sydney Sweeney, at the Manlius Cinema on Friday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 15, at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. She will introduce the film and participate in a post-show discussion about her career.

Tickets are on sale for $15 via manliuscinema.com . A VIP meet-and-greet package is available for $50 for both 7:30 p.m. screenings, as well as photo and autograph opportunities.

A portion of the proceeds from tickets and VIP purchases will benefit Christy’s Champs and Vera House, Inc.
