The Unified Bowling season has concluded for the Spartans of Emporia High as they did not qualify for the State meet. The team had a series score of 675, which landed them in tenth place at Regionals, thereby missing the top five team cut to qualify for the State meet.
The Regional meet at Let’s Roll Seneca in Wichita pinned the Emporia Spartans against Hutchinson, Great Bend, Hays, Liberal, and other squads for the chance to punch their tickets to the State meet. In a competitive field, the Spartans had their work cut out for them to secure their spot in State.
