( NewsNation ) — Singer Akon was arrested near Atlanta last week after police picked him up on an outstanding warrant.

Akon, whose legal name is Aliaune Badara Thiam, was taken into custody by the Chamblee Police Department last Friday, reported CBS News , which viewed the incident report.

Police arrested Akon after a Flock camera flagged his Tesla Cybertruck, which had been parked at a business called Tint World, according to the outlet.
