UConn linebacker Bryun Parham has been named a semifinalist for the Walter Camp 2025 Player of the Year award.
The honor is the fourth-oldest college football award in the nation, according to a press release.
The 20-player semifinalist list includes 11 quarterbacks, six defensive players, two running backs and one wide receiver. Former Colorado (and current Jacksonville Jaguar) wide receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter won the award last year.
Parham is among the top pass-rushers in the country this season, ranking third nationally in sacks (10.5) sixth in tackles (96), and ninth in tackles for loss (14.5). The senior also has three fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and an interception this season.
