Ganderbal, Nov 12: A residential house belonging to Fareed Ahmad Kassana, son of Ghulam Din, resident of Gadribal Sumbalballa Gund in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, was completely damaged in a fire incident on Wednesday.

According to officials, flames suddenly engulfed the house, prompting an immediate response from the Fire and Emergency Services and Gund Police. The fire was brought under control after strenuous efforts, though the structure suffered extensive damage.

Timely intervention by the police team led by SHO Police Station Gund, Rayees Ahmad, along with fire service personnel and help from local residents, prevented the fire from spreading to nearby houses.

No loss of life or injuries was reported in the incident. The cause of the fire is being ascertaine
