CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A public safety ordinance that places restrictions on food trucks in Over-the-Rhine and the Central Business District is being tabled due to a list of concerns and questions from food truck owners and council members.
The new ordinance discussed in the city’s public safety and governance committee would clarify restrictions made in an older ordinance passed by Cincinnati City Council on Sept. 5
It states that food truck owners are prohibited from operating in Over-the-Rhine or the Central Business District once 11 p.m. hits on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays year-round.
It also enforces stricter parking rules for the mobile businesses.
