Over a year ago, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles was embroiled in drama surrounding the revocation of her bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Games in Paris.

Jordan’s bronze medal win in the gymnastics floor routine was allocated to Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu when the Court of Arbitration ruled that Jordan and her coach had submitted a score inquiry after the one-minute deadline.

Her sister, Jazmin Chiles, lashed out at the decision via social media, also exposing some of the racist remarks she had been subjected to at the time.

Fast forward to November 2025, and the US Olympic gymnast is now alleging racism was a factor in her having to return her medal.
