Hazbin Hotel fans watching along with the rollout of season 2 may be noticing a repeated image: two shapes that hang in the sky above Hell. They clearly represent Heaven and Hell in some capacity: One is a dark-red sphere with a glowing pentagram etched into it, while the other is a celestial figure wreathed in white clouds. But if the white sphere is Heaven itself — which seems clear enough, given how characters in this season look up to it when they talk (or sing) about taking over Heaven — then what's the red sphere? Polygon asked Hazbin Hotel creator Vivenne Medrano to lay out her lore around Hell's skies.
