A $1 million facelift to Mirrabooka Town Square, aimed at revitalising the area, is now complete.
Known as Mirrabooka Koort, the Heart of Mirrabooka, a community celebration is set to be held this Saturday to mark the official opening of the upgraded area.
The project, commissioned by the City of Stirling and built by Nyoongar-owned construction company Kardan, has delivered new seating, shade sails, a playground, native trees and plants, public art installations, upgraded lighting, and an alfresco wooden deck connected to the new Dome Café.
Work on the project started in April, following 18 months of city engagement with locals, which influenced the design of the new town square.
