A man accused of participating in the shocking kidnapping and murder of an innocent woman over her husband's alleged drug theft has been denied bail.

Thi Kim Tran was grabbed by three masked men from her Bankstown home in southwest Sydney on April 17 before being tied up and bundled into a waiting vehicle.

The 45-year-old was killed in response to the theft of 80kg of methamphetamine by her husband Tung Nguyen, who was working as a "cook" at a farm in Springdallah, Victoria, Burwood Local Court was told on Wednesday.

Her body was found bound and gagged in the back of a burnt-out SUV.

The Anh Nguyen, 29, allegedly drove in a convoy with three hitmen to Ms Tran's address where he knocked on her door.
