COLUMBIA, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Kipp Group, an alliance of German companies, announced Wednesday it is establishing its U.S. headquarters in Laurens County.

Officials said the company’s $12.2 million investment will create 19 new jobs.

Kipp Group is a family-owned business that manufactures products for the standard elements, operating elements and clamping technology sectors. The company has over 1,000 employees across its more than 30 locations worldwide.

The new 70,000-square-foot facility, located in the Woodfield Industrial Park in Fountain Inn, will serve as the Kipp Group’s U.S. headquarters and distribution center.
