ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA) - The Salvation Army of Allen County is expanding its food pantry hours during the holiday season.
Traditionally, the food pantry operates on a limited basis during this time of year due to other seasonal programs.
The organization says that with a growing need in the community, it wants to ensure families continue to have support.
Beginning on Monday, November 17, the food pantry will be open every Monday and Tuesday at 12 p.m.
According to the organization, services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
The food pantry will not be open on December 15, 16, and 22.
The organization says the expanded hours will continue until the end of the year.
