Talk about a long goodbye! Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine says the metal band’s upcoming farewell tour will “easily” last up to five years.
Earlier this year, the legendary thrash act announced it would release one final album and embark on a farewell outing . While that album, a self-titled effort , is set for release on January 23rd, the tour may last for half a decade.

Mustaine told Kerrang! , “We’re easily talking about touring for another three to five years.” The thrash legend, who recently turned 64, then figured that the tour may end right around the time he turns 70. Related Video
“And if we’re going to be doing it for that long then, shit, I’ll be looking at the birthday I don’t even want to think about,” he added.
