A woman and a teenage girl have been arrested following the death of a six-year-old boy. Police are currently treating the incident as an "unexplained" death. Humberside Police confirmed they were alerted by paramedics to a residence on Searby Road in Scunthorpe at approximately 9am on Monday, November 10, where the youngster was experiencing a medical emergency.
The 37-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl have now been arrested on suspicion of causing or allowing the death of a child. Detective Chief Insp Ben Robinson confirmed that
