It's a great week to be a fan of the Alien franchise, now that Alien: Earth season 2 has been renewed. After over a month since the ending of Alien: Earth season 1 and quite a bit of uncertainty, Disney and FX have renewed Alien: Earth season 2 . Noah Hawley, the creator of Alien: Earth , also has a new, larger deal with both companies, and filming on the show is set to start in 2026 in London.

Alien: Earth season 2's renewal is just the tip of the iceberg of good news for the franchise, however.
