A man who died Monday night in a rollover crash on westbound Interstate 10, east of Dillon Road, has been identified by the Riverside County coroner.
Jean Muhire, 22, of Litchfield Park, Arizona, died at the scene after his Honda sedan overturned around 9:03 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, in a two-vehicle crash about seven miles east of Dillon Road.
A preliminary investigation by the California Highway Patrol said that Muhire's Honda passed a Ram pickup in the next lane and then moved left, striking the front of the truck. The impact caused the Honda to lose control down the embanked dirt median and overturned.
Muhire was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at 9:26 p.m.
