TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A student has been arrested after allegedly making threats against a school in Pima County.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said it was told about the threats against Green Fields School, a private school near Orange Grove and Camino De La Tierra, on Monday.

The PCSD said one student was arrested on a charge of threatening by word or conduct following an investigation.

The PCSD said its Special Enforcement Team did a traffic education and enforcement effort at the school on Wednesday and that “resulted in an increased deputy presence in the area.”

Also, an SRO was assigned to the area “out of an abundance of caution.”
