Alexa Chung raised us over here at The Cut. We’ve been tuning in since her Tumblr and MTV days (“I watched every single episode of her singular season of It’s On With Alexa Chung on MTV when I was 11,” wrote fashion news writer Danya Issawi.) Since then, we’ve found out where she buys her vintage Chanel and geeked out over her Burberry campaigns , which is why we had to try out her latest holiday capsule with Madewell . Inspired by vintage pieces, the two collaborated on 30 pieces that fuse both Alexa’s covetable style and Madewell’s everyday attire. Ranging between $24 and $598, we wore some of the pieces out on a work day to see how it fits on different body types and how they hold up.
