GRAND FORKS – In the classic rock cosmos, there appears to be an established mathematical formula that determines the connectivity between a song, the fans and an era decades gone.
The rubric was verified Tuesday at the Alerus Center.
Whenever rockers Loverboy and Styx launched into one of their top hits, many of those in attendance lifted a cellphone above their head, using the device to document the bands’ appearance in Grand Forks as well as their own powerful bond with some of the top songs of a generation ago.
