Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer spoke publicly on Marshawn Kneeland’s tragic passing for the first time on Wednesday.
The NFL world is mourning the loss of Marshawn Kneeland, who committed suicide last Thursday following a chase with police. After fleeing his vehicle on foot, Kneeland was found deceased by authorities early Thursday morning from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The former Western Michigan standout was only 24 years of age and in his second season with the Cowboys. The NFL sent a memo to all 32 teams, asking them to hold a moment of silence for Kneeland, who has been honored by multiple players, including Green Bay Packers star Micah Parsons (Kneeland’s teammate in 2024). before Monday night’s home game against the Philadelphia Eagles
