The Cincinnati Bengals are remaining cautious with quarterback Joe Flacco’s shoulder injury that has ailed him since last month.
Flacco, 40, is preparing to start his fifth game with the Bengals when they travel to face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Advertisement
Despite that, Flacco did not throw during practice on Wednesday, as he continues to manage an AC joint sprain suffered against the New York Jets in Week 8.
Flacco is still expected to start Sunday for the Bengals, who also welcomed back star quarterback Joe Burrow to practice on Monday.
Burrow has already been ruled out for Sunday’s game, though his timeline after that remains unclear and dependent on how he feels in practice over the next few weeks.
