GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The old RiverGate Mall site is inching closer to a huge makeover.

Final approvals for the project are expected next month, with land acquisition and construction planning to kick off in January.

The project will be revitalizing 56.49 acres into multi-family housing, stores, restaurants and entertainment facilities, as well as medical and business offices.
