The highly anticipated StrEATS festival will return to the South Perth foreshore on Thursday, marking the official launch of the festival’s summer program.

Sir James Mitchell Park will be transformed into a lively hub of food trucks and entertainment from Thursday until Sunday (5pm to 8.30pm).

The festival will run throughout the summer and end on April 5 next year, with a wide range of different cuisines available to suit everyone’s tastebuds and dietary requirements.

Organisers say this year people can enjoy a selection of food from their regular vendors as well as some newbies.

The event is family-friendly and BYO.

Overflow parking will be a $2 gold coin donation.
