BEAVER DAM, Wis. (WMTV) - Meta is investing more than $1 billion into an artificial intelligence-optimized data center campus in Beaver Dam, according to Governor Tony Evers and officials with Meta.

According to Meta, the project is expected to create more than 1,000 skilled trade jobs during construction.

“Wisconsin is a leader when it comes to biohealth and advanced manufacturing industries, and we’re excited to keep building upon this tradition as we become the home to new world-changing technology,” said Gov. Evers. “This investment will help ensure Wisconsin is meeting the demands of the 21st Century and creating good, family-supporting jobs to support the workforce in the BeaverDam community and across the greater region.
