A current WWE champion is reportedly in for a marquee match at "WrestleMania 42." Bodyslam reports that early plans are for reigning WWE Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer to have a significant spot on WWE's biggest show of 2026. While it isn't a lock as of now, the report notes that big stars such as Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley have been discussed as possible opponents for "La Primera."
WWE has already teased a professional wrestling feud between Vaquer and Ripley. The two have had several backstage run-ins. While Vaquer and Ripley have been cordial, there is an underlying competitiveness between the two. As for Lynch, she has been a heel WWE Intercontinental Champion, and it's easy to see her cross paths with Vaquer at some point.
