EUGENE, Ore. - The Lane County Interagency Deadly Force Investigation Team (IDFIT) is set to review an officer-involved shooting that occurred Wednesday afternoon, according to the Eugene Police Department.

EPD officials said officers responded on Nov. 12 to reports of a man armed with a shotgun reportedly threatening others in the 1400 block of Railroad Boulevard. Shots were fired at 12:50 p.m., leaving the suspect, a 40-year-old man, injured, police said. Emergency medical aid was provided, and the man was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening. Authorities said that a shotgun was recovered at the scene.
