With the 2025 season over for the New York Giants, since they're 2-8, they have named veteran Jameis Winston as the starter for the upcoming matchup against the Green Bay Packers. According to reports, the Giants named him the starter in the wake of firing head coach Brian Daboll as they promoted him from the third-string spot over fellow teammate, Russell Wilson. Winston signed a two-year contract this past offseason, but there could be reason to believe that this might be a real opportunity for him to shine to garner trade interest this upcoming offseason. With rookie Jaxson Dart being the future of this offense, but still in concussion protocol, the Giants should entertain the idea of letting Winston pick where he wants to land if he winds up performing well against Green Bay.
