SHREVEPORT, La. – This week’s Paws to Care segment featured Oliver, a Shihtzu-Pekingese mix who will be getting neutered today by Robinson’s Rescue .
Their mission is to prevent pet overpopulation through high-quality, affordable spay and neuter surgeries while educating the community about responsible pet ownership.
The rescue offers low cost and free spay and neuter services to animals in the community. They work with 32 different shelters to provide services. Since the rescue’s opening in 2008, they have performed over 100,000 spay and neuter surgeries, performing up to 35 - 45 surgeries a day.
