CLEVELAND—They’re greedy, these Raptors are. Greedy but patient at the same time.
They find themselves in a pretty good place in the infancy of the NBA regular season: a game above .500, about to finish one of their longest road trips of the season — against the Cavaliers here Thursday and the Pacers in Indianapolis on Saturday — and feeling like the really good stuff is still to come.
That’s the greedy part. The patience comes from the sense that it will get better, much better, with a bit more time and familiarity.
