A teen boy was killed in a Hollygrove shooting Wednesday afternoon, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

Police were called at 4:30 p.m. to the 8600 block of Palmetto Street, where they found the wounded victim. He was declared dead on scene, police said.

Police did not immediately release more information.

Just after 5:30 p.m., about a dozen onlookers stood in the 3600 block of Cambronne Street, where two NOPD vehicles with flashing lights were parked between two apartment complexes.
