SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - High pressure sitting east of the ArkLaTex will bring a southerly flow and very warm temperatures to the region over the next week.

Tonight looks mostly clear and very mild with overnight lows holding in the mid 50s.

Thursday will be a very warm day by November standards with temperatures quickly climbing into the low 80s by afternoon. Other than a few morning clouds, we should see plenty of sunshine.

The rest of the extended forecast continues to look unseasonably warm for the entire region. Temperatures will climb into the low 80s from Friday all the way through the weekend. In addition, humidity will slowly start to increase during this period.
