BILLINGS, Mont. – Billings Public Schools have introduced new eye-wash stations in all 34 schools, a move celebrated by educators and health professionals. The installations aim to enhance student safety by providing immediate access to care in case of eye injuries.

Nurse Holly Kary, Chair of the Nursing Department for SD2, explained the process for using the stations.

"In our grade schools, with that little step stools that the kiddos can step on, you might need one eye and you might need both eyes. But just lean over and let your in. And then we just have them blink continually and tell if it's, you know, we're not sure. Maybe it's just an eyelash or gosh, until it feels a little bit better," said Kary.
