WASHINGTON, Va. — The Inn at Little Washington enjoys a reputation as one of the top restaurants in the DMV — but, for now, it no longer has the unique distinction of being the region’s only three-star Michelin restaurant.
The nearly half-century-old restaurant in Rappahannock County had enjoyed the unique distinction since 2019.
Despite its fall from Olympian heights, the restaurant’s staff stressed that they’re still in prestigious company among the region’s two-star Michelin restaurants.
“We have the greatest respect for the Michelin Guide and have been honored to hold its highest distinction for the past seven years.
