Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment and WWE have launched a tag team — a new long-term strategic partnership aimed at exploring “opportunities across multiple areas” between the sports and entertainment giants.

Together, the companies will examine potential partnerships including exclusive merchandise collaborations, original content development, community-focused programs and regular cross-brand appearances from team players and WWE superstars, the companies announced in a statement released Wednesday.
