NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Nashville Zoo’s annual Zoolumination Festival of Lights is set to kick off this week.

According to the Nashville Zoo, the Zoolumination is the the largest lantern festival in the country.

The festival of lights features scene of more than 1,000 custom-made silk lanterns. There is also live entertainment, some animal attractions and the Smashville Ice Rink during Zoolumination.

Zoolumination starts on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will continue nightly through Jan. 4, and Thursday through Sunday from Jan. 8 through Feb. 8
