LOS ANGELES — Rams receiver Davante Adams did not practice on Wednesday after injuring his oblique in Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, but head coach Sean McVay said he does not expect that to impact Adams’ availability this weekend against the Seattle Seahawks.
“He’s making good progress, just did the walk through,” McVay said, adding he expects Adams to play against the Seahawks. “That’s what he tells me, he’s feeling good, so I trust the man. He’ll be ready.”
Adams pulled up while running a route in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s victory over the 49ers, reaching for his lower back and left oblique. He consulted with the training staff and tried to go to the coaching staff to reenter the game, only to follow VP of sports performance Reggie Scott to the injury tent.
