Nine of the 10 most dangerous intersections in Kelowna are along the Harvey Avenue/Highway 97 corridor, updated data from ICBC shows.

The corner of Harvey and Dilworth Drive rates as the most dangerous, with 208 injury accidents occurring there between 2020 and March of this year.

The next three most dangerous intersections, with their number of injury accidents, are Harvey and Spall (174), Highway 97 and Banks Road (154), and Harvey and Gordon Drive (139).

The only corner not along the busy highway corridor to make the list of 10 most dangerous intersections based on injury data is Benvoulin Road/Dilworth Drive and Springfield Road (115).

Of the 185 drivers killed in vehicle collisions on average in each of the past five years across B.C., 152 have been men, and 33 have been women.
