RAJKOT: A 60-year-old man from Gondal was allegedly hacked to death by his wife's five brothers, while trying to reconcile with her family at his niece's house in Amreli district on Tuesday evening. The victim, Dinesh Solanki, had both legs severed with an axe during the attack. He was rushed to Amreli Civil Hospital and later shifted to Rajkot Civil Hospital, where he died on Wednesday morning. Solanki, married to Ratan for 35 years and father of three sons, had left home a month ago after a dispute with her.
