His remarks come days after the Argentine legend made a surprise visit to the renovated stadium where he spent 21 unforgettable years. He carried a legacy in red and blue as he became the face of the club’s greatest era.

Messi joined Barca’s famed La Masia academy at 13 and he left the Catalan giants in 2021 when the club’s financial crisis made it impossible to renew his contract.
