Gurgaon-based private hospital network Fortis Healthcare expects mid- to high-teens growth in hospital business.
Ashutosh Raghuvanshi, Managing Director and CEO of Fortis Healthcare said, “We are continuously seeing a trend of more complex cases coming as well as the surgical cases being higher in number, and that is what is driving the average revenue per occupied bed (ARPOB) higher.”
The increase in revenue per bed is being driven by the changing case mix rather than price revisions, a trend the company expects to continue in the coming quarters. Fortis remains confident of maintaining high occupancy levels going forward.
