MILFORD, Iowa (KTIV) - U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley toured a Dickinson County manufacturing business Wednesday afternoon following Monday night’s vote to reopen the federal government. The Republican took questions from workers at Milford Welding and Manufacturing.
Questions ranged from the impact tariffs could have on area farmers to the polarization between parties in Washington D.C. But the hot topic was the work to reopen the federal government, specifically the debate about healthcare subsidies that are set to expire.
