NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk’s Battleship Wisconsin is about to shine brighter than ever – this time on national television.

Winterfest at Nauticus, the beloved holiday light show with the Battleship Wisconsin as its centerpiece, will be featured on “The Great Christmas Light Fight” on ABC this season, officials announced this week.

“We were absolutely thrilled to be invited to compete on such a beloved national holiday show,” said Stephen Kirkland, executive director of Nauticus. “We’ve been preparing for this national TV debut for some time and so as you can imagine, this year’s lights will be completely over the top.”
