Cold wave Intensifies Across Telangana, Hyderabad Records Sharp Dip

cold wave | Hyderabad, Nov. 13: The cold wave sweeping across Telangana has intensified, validating the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department .

Chilly winds gripped several parts of the state over the past two days, causing temperatures to drop to record lows.

On Thursday morning, Sirpur in KB Asifabad district recorded a minimum temperature of 7.1°C, while Tiryani registered 8.2°C. The department stated that these were the lowest temperatures recorded so far this season.

The cold conditions have spread beyond forest areas, affecting towns and cities as well.
