Amid the ongoing probe into the deadly car blast in Delhi’s Red Fort area, investigative agencies on Thursday informed that around eight terrorists were planning to execute coordinated blasts in different cities, news agency ANI reported citing sources.
As per the report, terrorists had planned to move to four locations in groups of two -- each carrying multiple improvised explosive devices (IEDs) for simultaneous attacks.
"Around eight suspects planned to carry out serial blast at four locations. They had planned to move to four cities in groups of two each. Each group was supposed to carry multiple IEDs along with them," the sources told.
Those under the scanner include individuals connected to previous terror cases, such as Red Fort blast accused Dr Umar Nabi, Dr Adeel, Dr Muzammil,
