HARWOOD, N.D. — Residents continue to raise concerns as another town hall was held in regard to the Applied Digital data center in Harwood.

Applied Digital official Nick Philips said the current town halls are focused on the public and the questions they have.

One speaker raised concerns about their power shutting off multiple times since construction started.

Cass County officials said the outages are not because of the ongoing work.

"There's just some things out of all of our control that happen. Sometimes it's Mother Nature, sometimes it's somebody that digs into our line, completely separate issue from Applied Digital," said Paul Matthys, president of Cass County Electric.

Applied Digital officials expect the first building to be built by the end of 2026.
